@RHTConline #ThatsWhyWeDoThis

RHTC Online Store has been engaging on a campaign known as #ThatsWhyWeDoThis and have gone viral on different social networks. If you haven't heard of them, haaike boet en my sussie, hurry...pheeuw, follow 'em on Twitter @RHTConline or simply search #ThatsWhyWeDoThis and you can also follow their page on Facebook.

What is it that we do? And why are we doing this? And what is this we ("they") are doing? Well, I tried getting answers from Mpumelelo Mfula (aka @frypan), one dude thought it would be cool to sell culture through threads, RHTC online store became his first offering and this what he had to say: "In all honesty we too don't know what this philosophy is really about, however we have taken to the streets to discover why we do a lot of things that are thought to be unexplainable or rather misunderstood."

I'm not kidding you, but whatever it is that "we" are doing, they doing it DIFFERENT. Different is good, right??? Right!

The first of these street ventures comes in the form of a short video clip that "we" are yet to reveal details of, however RHTC have cooked up an appetising 23 second trailer clip to start explaining WHY WE DO THIS. It would be a great pleasure if you watch this art clip by simply following the video clip on You tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR2z07Sin7o&feature=c4-overview&list=UUj8JnWS1IfzftHh7bz_rOdg and you can also download the 2MB video on http://www.sharebeast.com/xlrrgt1yvp17  and visit RHTC's website www.rhtconline.com

POWER OF MEN

•A man has the power to love a woman in a way that she has never been loved, and yet hurt her with the same intensity.
•A man has the power to treat a woman like a queen then turn around and make her wish she was never born.
•A man has the power to let a woman feel free and wanted, but also feel disgusted and unworthy.
•A man has the power to make you fall in love with him within days, and hate him within minutes.

•During sex a man has the power to make a woman feel like she is in heaven, and afterwards make feel like a whore.
•A man has the power to change a woman from having goals, to living out his goals instead of her own.
•Why is that men have such power? They have so much power because we give it to them. The power of a man wouldn't mean anything without a woman.
•So ladies when times are hard between u and your man and you realize that he treats you bad, remember that he can only do what you allow.

•Never underestimate your power because without it, you are stuck with the power of a man!!"And don't 4get that God gave WOMEN will power and they are very near to God's heart, so let no man have dominion over you but GOD!

"A woman's heart should be hidden in Christ, that a man have to seek him first to find her."

RIHANNA COMES TO SOUTH AFRICA

Heads up Rihanna fans! Big Concerts has confirmed that the edgy pop princess will be touring South Africa this October with her Diamonds World Tour.

The concerts will be held at FNB Stadium in Joburg on Sunday, October 13, 2013, and at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. This is not the first time the 25-year-old singer has performed in this country; in 2006 she joined rapper Jay-Z on his SA tour as an opening act.

The Barbadian artist began her career at the age of 16 when she moved to the United States and signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for Jay-Z. Her accolades include seven Grammy Awards. In 2012, Forbes ranked her as the fourth most-powerful celebrity of 2012. The same year, American magazine Time named Rihanna as one of the most influential people in the world.

After much speculation, in a January 2013 interview with Rolling Stone, Rihanna confirmed that she has rekindled her relationship with Chris Brown. A month later she presented her first female fashion collection at the London Fashion Week for the high-street British brand River Island.

Tickets for the Diamonds World Tour in South Africa will go on sale in Joburg on Thursday, 11 April at 9am (priced R330 to R930), and in Cape Town on Friday, 12 April at 9am (priced R275 to R820).

Tickets will be available from Big Concerts and Computicket

For All Mothers and Future Mothers! ♥For all Mothers (including soon to be Mothers) MOTHERHOOD

We are sitting at lunch one day when my daughter casually mentions that she and her husband are thinking of "starting a family." "We're taking a survey," she says half-joking. "Do you think I should have a baby?"

"It will change your life," I say, carefully keeping my tone neutral.

"I know," she says, "no more sleeping in on weekends, no more spontaneous vacations."

But that is not what I meant at all. I look at my daughter, trying to decide what to tell her. I want her to know what she will never learn in childbirth classes.

I want to tell her that the physical wounds of child bearing will heal, but becoming a mother will leave her with an emotional wound so raw that she will forever be vulnerable.

I consider warning her that she will never again read a newspaper without asking, "What if that had been MY child?" That every plane crash, every house fire will haunt her.

That when she sees pictures of starving children, she will wonder if anything could be worse than watching your child die.

I look at her carefully manicured nails and stylish suit and think that no matter how sophisticated she is, becoming a mother will reduce her to the primitive level of a bear protecting her cub. That an urgent call of "Mum!" will cause her to drop a soufflé or her best crystal without a moments hesitation.

I feel that I should warn her that no matter how many years she has invested in her career, she will be professionally derailed by motherhood. She might arrange for childcare, but one day she will be going into an important business meeting and she will think of her
baby's sweet smell. She will have to use every ounce of discipline to keep from running home, just to make sure her baby is all right.

I want my daughter to know that every day decisions will no longer be routine. That a five year old boy's desire to go to the men's room rather than the women's at McDonald's will become a major dilemma. That right there, in the midst of clattering trays and screaming
children, issues of independence and gender identity will be weighed against the prospect that a child molester may be lurking in that restroom.

However decisive she may be at the office, she will second-guess herself constantly as a mother.

Looking at my attractive daughter, I want to assure her that eventually she will shed the pounds of pregnancy, but she will never feel the same about herself.

That her life, now so important, will be of less value to her once she has a child. That she would give herself up in a moment to save her offspring, but will also begin to hope for more years, not to accomplish her own dreams, but to watch her child accomplish theirs.

I want her to know that a cesarean scar or shiny stretch marks will become badges of honor.

My daughter's relationship with her husband will change, but not in the way she thinks.

I wish she could understand how much more you can love a man who is careful to powder the baby or who never hesitates to play with his child.

I think she should know that she will fall in love with him again for reasons she would now find very unromantic.

I wish my daughter could sense the bond she will feel with women throughout history who have tried to stop war, prejudice and drunk driving.

I want to describe to my daughter the exhilaration of seeing your child learn to ride a bike.

I want to capture for her the belly laugh of a baby who is touching the soft fur of a dog or cat for the first time.

I want her to taste the joy that is so real it actually hurts.

My daughter's quizzical look makes me realize that tears have formed in my eyes. "You'll never regret it," I finally say. Then I reached across the table, squeezed my daughter's hand and offered a silent prayer for her, and for me, and for all the mere mortal women who stumble their way into this most wonderful of callings.

Please share this with a Mum that you know or all of your girlfriends who may someday be Mums. May you always have in your arms the one who is in your heart.

Proverbs 31:30

Proverbs 31:30
New King James Version (NKJV)
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Remember you are valuable in God's eyes and created beautiful in God's image. You are a princess and don't let anyone put you down. God has a purpose in your life. God is your father and he knows you better than your family and your friends. Be true with God and be faithful. God wants a relationship with you. So don't waste time run to Jesus and surrender all to him. God is waiting for you with open arms.

DEATH, the END of LIFE not LOVE

When you have a place to go to at the end of the day;that's HOME. When you have people to love; that's what I call FAMILY. And when you have BOTH, then that's a BLESSING. When most of you were protesting, making your voices be heard about "STOP RAPE" campaign, which is something we can put an END to. But DEATH is something else, something I cannot, will not get used to and its something that won't END but I know that DEATH is the END of LIFE and I also believe that it is the beginning of an everlasting life when when you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour. On Thursday morning I received a call around 2am that my niece had passed away and on Friday evening, last night I also received a call from my mom telling that I had lost an uncle.

I love L.O.V.E, and I am grateful that I had and still receiving so much LOVE from my loved ones. LOVE and LIFE has taught me to love those around while they're still breathing the air of life and no when they're gone. I will always love you, may your souls REST IN PEACE.

It was a BLACK FRIDAY but nothing will ever stop me from loving you, you and you. I'm in so much pain right now, but I still love L.O.V.E!

Moneoa, one talented lady...

From the shores of the 3rd largest city in South Africa; radiates a 23 year old, (Umthatha born) Durban raised singer and songwriter, poised to make the world her own.

MONEOA is a dancer by profession; but has followed her heart to singing, after her family and friends made her realize that her voice glides across chords as swiftly as her feet through a detailed choreography. Her voice is paradoxically chilling, yet soothing and her "feel good" music is an interesting blend of afro pop/neo-soul delivered through a rare, vulnerable emotional catharsis.

Befittingly her debut album is titled "Coming from Going to" and her storytelling lyrical style is jetted from track 1 to 14 by producers like Vusi Ndlovu from Odeum Music; Beatmaker & Dan Joffe from King and I; Nick Holder / Da Capo from DNH Records and Binary Boys from Voodoo Collective.

MONEOA is a true musical talent with a distinguishably raspy voice that floats effortlessly on tracks and satiating purposeful lyrics that exude "Life and Meaning".

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Happy Birthday to the best man, Mr. Matlala, my papa, ntate, Mokone.

Papa,
Happy Birthday! I can't believe you are away, so far away yet so near, for everyone who knew you, knew you were one tough cookie, my hero, my friend, my shield and a loving daddio. You are my inspiration for how to live my life and act as a daily reminder for how to be a better person. You're a role model to everyone that you encounter and you never cease to amaze me. I live elke dag as if you're beside, with me or behind me because I know that the Father of the fatherless is always with me. Regardless of any situation, family always came first for you, we were your number one fans and all time favourite kids. Even in the heart of tax season, you came to all our prize givings, come rain or snow, you still made possible to attend school events like parents evening or AGMs.

Whenever I would come to you to help me figure out a solution to my problem, you always encouraged me to learn for myself, without ever giving me your direct opinion. However, this helped me think for myself and learn to solve problems on my own; and for that I wanna say "thank you". I remember how you would tease us, and the house would be filled with so much warmth, love and laughter. I aspire to be just like you when I grow up, hehehe Nooi reminds me of you, she's definitely you.

You were an amazing man both in and out of the house. You taught me the importance of respect, being the best I can be, and not taking life too seriously and to love L.O.V.E. You always said, "hmmm maara you look like me, one day I'll come to your school and ask for Magdaleen" *afrikaner accent*.  You instilled good, strong, solid morals into me and stressed the value of family.   You taught me that "two wrongs don't make a right" and how to create a fake burp, and the difference between ACTING and PRETENDING. Yes, I am the goofy and lively person I am because of you.

I am definitely your daughter.  I got your common sense, instincts, humor and logical thinking, uhuh I miss those days when you and mom would argue about it; "whether your kids got to be such smarties coz we got from mommy or you" hehehe, I think we got it from both of you.  My love for you is beyond unconditional, to the point of physical pain, OUCH!

Dad, you know you have corny silly 'Dad jokes,' that usually only I laugh at, but still, I love your humor. You never fail to make me laugh and cheer me up. You set the bar quite high for my future husband, I hope he's reading this (my LION). Coming from a family of 3girls and 1boy, you had to adjust and deal with a family of all women hahaha including your lovely wife, my mom, but you did this flawlessly. Remember how we, your lovely daughters really hated soccer; well...uhm ntate you'd be suprised, coz vandag we're able to join mom and Nsimbi as a fam and watch the 5skippers but nna papa I'm not a Buccaneer neh, I'm a Khosi for life.

Growing up, I held your finger, instead of your hand. As an adolescent when my peers no longer wanted to be seen with their parents, I never stopped holding your hand, even in public.  I was, and still am, always proud to be your daughter. Gone are those days when you would bribe me ka can of cold drink so that I could join you at the barbershop and get a haircut; I'd do it coz I was and still am daddy's girl.
I always felt safe with you. As a kid you think your parents know everything. Then you grow up and think they don't know anything. I'm convinced, you do know just about everything, even if you're no longer with us.

I know I can count on you to always be my shoulder to cry on and my support. You liked to be the center of attention, at home, malls even at work. But you deserve to be the center this time you and the amazing, wonderful man and father that you've always been.

Our family has had our share of ups and downs, but you never gave up on us. You have risked and given so much of your self for us, thank you. Thank you for all that you done for us. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being the best Dad a girl could dream of.

I am a Daddy's Girl through and through. I couldn't and have never pictured my life without you. But when God decided to take you away, he took you for a reason; but that day was not the end of me, or us but the beginning of what you had left behind for us. You taught us to LOVE, RESPECT and be BEST when our enemies wish to see the worst, and nothing beats the POWER OF PRAYER "POP"!!!

Just writing this for you, I am tearing u, because we love you endlessly ntate. You are my rock star and my real life hero.

"Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Daddy!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY. I love you with all my heart. Big Daddy is taking good care of us.

Love,
Rethabile M. Matlala

Minnie Dlamini vs. Khune, who dumped who?

How true are these rumors about Minenhle Dlamini and Itumeleng Khune saying "Its Over" and not "I DO"?

Apparently she's not just dumping him, maar she's scored for Khaya Mthetwa's team; how true is this? Honestly speaking, I can't picture Minnie and Idols (2012) winner dating. But what if they are, I guess I'll have to look at this picture from a different angle and if they're both happy then I'm all SMILEYs.

If you wanna know the story from the horses mouth, Minnie; I'd suggest you go and get yourself a copy of Move magazine. Like Minnie would say as a Y.O.L.O President, "You Only Live Once".

I say: "It's not over until it's over", if you don't believe me then go ask Chris Brown and Rihanna.

We're not perfect but we're imperfectly perfect.

We look up to YOU (Lord).

When tough gets going, the going gets tougher but these young girls choose to remain FAITHful to God and their friendship. They are the young and the restless, the bold and beautiful, they claim to bring rhythm in the city and no scandals, they are loud but they also know when to shut up.

The best relationship or friendship one can ever have, is a friendship/ relationship with God. They believe Christ is the centre of the circle, and I pray that God keeps them as sisters for a very long time.

Before you judge ME make sure you're PERFECT.

Working out has never been my weakest points, but has been my close friend. But you know the danger to have a friend to close to you, I'm not perfect and so is my body. I make mistakes, sometimes I cheat and not give my body its fuel, uhuh I said CHEAT toet hehehe!

But it shows how a human being can complicate the human body and mind by not following simple instructions. Take a car for an example, if you don't fill up your fuel tank with petrol but would rather cheat and fill it with water; oh boy, then you're in trouble hehehe because the car aint gonna move. Uhm it will probably make a few sounds and few shakes but it won't be fit enough to hit the road, right? Right!!!

Its pretty simple, "cheating is not answer to succeeding but it's an option; an option that doesn't guarantee you success"- SocialAngelQuotes. So hit the road mabhebeza (babe) and you'll succeed, hlaseling the futhas aint for everyone and still gotta pay for it. If you wanna look and feel natural, do it the natural way. If nature is calling you, you always answer akere? So do the same, it doesn't even have a to cost you a cent.

XOXO
